The South Korean Air Force will participate in a U.S.-led multinational disaster relief training exercise next month to better provide humanitarian assistance in case of natural disasters in the Asia-Pacific region, military officials said Friday. A CN-235 medium transport aircraft carrying 20 soldiers will depart on Feb. 10 from Gimhae Air Base, close to the southern port city of Busan, to Anderson Air Base in Guam to participate in the drill involving Japan and Australia, the Air Force said.
