South Korean National Assembly speaker Kang Chang-hee departed for China Wednesday on a four-day trip that will include talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping amid growing security tensions in l - the region, Yonhap news agency reported. Kang, who is scheduled to arrive in Beijing later in the day, will meet with top Chinese legislator Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, before heading to the southern industrial hub of Guangzhou, according to the Assembly.
