South Korea\'s Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se is in Singapore for a two-day official visit, Singapore\'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday. Yun, who is on his first visit to Singapore as foreign minister, met his Singaporean counterpart K Shanmugam on Friday evening. The Singaporean foreign minister welcomed the active participation of South Korea in ASEAN. They also discussed regional developments, the ministry said. South Korea is one of the dialogue partners of ASEAN and Singapore\'s 7th largest trading partner, with bilateral trade up 12.6 percent to 52.7 billion Singapore dollars (42.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2012.
