South Korea's foreign minister Yun Byung-se met with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki in Seoul on Friday to discuss the Israel-Palestine conflict and security issues on the Korean Peninsula, officials said.
They also discussed ways to promote bilateral cooperation and touched on global issues, according to Seoul's foreign ministry.
The two sides signed a US$7 million project to set up an institute that will help train public servants in Palestine.
Maliki arrived in Seoul on Thursday for a five-day stay in his first visit to South Korea since 2010.
