Social democrat party parliamentary group president at the Bundestag Walter Steinmeier met on Tuesday, in Tunis, with National Constituent Assembly (NCA) speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar and affirmed Germany\'s readiness to help Tunisia achieve its democratic transition. The German MP said his country backs the ruling politicians in this difficult stage, reads an NCA statement.« The democratic process is on the right track despite the difficult social situation Tunisia is living through », said Walter Steinmeier.Mustapha Ben Jaafar spoke, for his part, of NCA schedule for the remaining transitional period, particularly the preparations to submit the final draft of the Constitution.
