Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Saad Hayel Srour on Thursday received US Ambassador to Jordan Stuart Jones who congratulated Srour on his election as House speaker. Talks during the meeting covered Jordanian-US ties as well as means of further boosting them in various fields. Srour highlighted efforts exerted by His Majesty King Abdullah II to acheive comprehensive reforms in the Kingdom. The ambassador voiced his country’s willingness to further boost relations with Jordan for the interest of both peoples.
