Sudan's Permanent Representative to the UN Hassan Hamed Hassan said on Tuesday that he briefed the UN on the measures provided by his country to facilitate the work of the UNAMID peacekeeping mission in Darfur.
These measures included allowing importing commodities and issuing 413 entry visas for the UNAMID forces, he said while addressing the UN Security Council.
Hassan added that clashes between government troops and rebel movements in Sudan have decreased in the past period.
