Sudan is taking part at the meetings of the Council of the Arab League scheduled during March 21 - 27 at the level of senior officials, ministers and leaders. The Director of the Arab Administration at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Jamal Al-Sheikh, said that the preparatory meetings for the 24th Arab Summit is due to begin on Thursday by a meeting of the Socio-Economic Council at the level of senior officials, while the meeting of the council at the level of the Ministers of Finance, Economy and Trade will begin on Friday. Ambassador Al-Sheikh said that the Council of the Arab League will meet Saturday at the level of the permanent envoys to approve the timetable and the projects of the final communiqué and Doha Document. He said that the Arab leaders will participate in the Arab Summit during Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26 - 27, to discuss a number of issues, including the Syrian crisis, the developments in the Palestinian question, the enhancement and re-structuring of the Arab League as well as the Arab economic integration file.
