The Council for International People\'s Friendship (CIPF) is an organization set to strengthen and promote Sudan\'s popular relations with both regional and international communities . The people\'s diplomacy has played an important role in strengthening Sudanese interests with all the nations of the world because the essence of diplomatic work is to create relations in all domains such as politics , economy and culture . People\'s diplomacy is an international activity among nations . Every community has its special style in developing its diplomatic activities which varies from country to country . During the sixties people\'s diplomacy used to support liberation movements particularly in the Third World and with this , the people\'s diplomacy was spreading peace value in the world . Sudan has experienced diplomatic and political challenges through which enabled to promote its diplomatic relations with worldwide States there are some examples justify this historic stance which reflects the role of people\'s diplomacy in developing and promotion the relationship of Sudan with other nations in regional and international arenas in this case I can take the Sudan\'s previous relationship with Egypt as an example of the severe situation . At that time the council for international people\'s Friendship and it was necessary to support the Sudanese official diplomacy . The second example the people\'s diplomacy enable to expand popular participation and stimulated effective membership so as to be acceptable in leading the societies . Through the council\'s societies some prominent figures were invited including singers , politicians and parliamentarians to visit Sudan . The movement of people\'s diplomacy has stepped in trustful manners as it is supported by the nation . Neutral nations exchange interests with each other . The people\'s diplomacy also has pioneer role and enabled to promote the relations with Asia continent which have also been stepped up . We can see that in building strong relations with Asian countries particularly with China , India and Indonesia . In China , we found Chinese -Sudanese society aimed at exchanging of membership of non -governmental organizations so as to help in promoting the official relation through public contacts . However , 50% of Chinese delegates who visited Sudan represented big business firms in China . They have been done through popular exchange . The Sudanese -Chinese Society is motivating relations through contracts . The Chinese expatriates who work inside Sudan are being oriented with Sudanese style life . Another example of good Asian relations is the one with Malaysia and has witnessed a great development in all domains especially in the field of economy which shows the Malaysian investments in Sudan . The relations with Europe and American marked by a great challenge to Sudan\'s foreign relation . Sudan has adopted self reliance with neutral policy depending on Sudanese identity and free decision making . The result of this trend has placed Sudan into sharp confrontation with Europe and America . However , Council for International People\'s Friendship (CIPF) has played an effective role where it opened channels for dialogue with European and American societies to establish popular and common understanding and exchange of ideas with those communities . The council\'s priority is to find means and ways to penetrate into the civil societies in Europe and America . To this and CIPF is working in collaboration with Europe and particularly the British societies to clarify the situation in Sudan by making information accessible from the primary sources . These arrangements will help to defuse the unfounded propaganda against Sudan in the international arena .
