Sudanese First Vice-President Ali Osman Taha Saturday insisted on his decision to step down to make way for new generations, Al-Intibaha newspaper reported. All attempts to dissuade him from his decision have failed, added the newspaper, noting that Taha asserted to a number of leaders that the decision was out of his own conviction, stressing his respect for the views of all the leaders.
