Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said has begun visiting various regions of the country as part of his annual tour to check on the affairs of his people and listen to their demands. Sultan Qaboos was accompanied by many of his ministers and officials from the private sector. The tour aims at strengthening the Sultan's leadership bond with his people. It also aims at meeting the demands of the Omani citizens in order to establish prosperity and advancement in the country. Many developmental projects had seen the light due to these annual tours. Some Omani officials told KUNA, on Wednesday, that the Omani citizens always look forward to Sultan's Qaboos tour where they can interact directly and freely with their leader. It also creates an opportunity to express loyalty and gratitude for such a great leader who has been setting out on these annual tours since 1970.
