The Swedish Ambassador to Sudan, Jan Sadek, has described the cooperation agreement signed by Sudan and South Sudan as a step to bring peace, calling on the two parties to speed up implementation of all items of the agreement. This came during his meeting with the Assistant of the President of the Republic and Deputy Chairman of the National Congress Party(NCP), Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, in presence of ambassadors of European Union. He appreciated Sudan efforts in the signing of Addis Ababa agreement adding that EU is looking forward to establish best relations between the two countries and resumption of oil pumping, affirming importance of the relation between the EU and Sudan, noting that there are ample opportunities for constructive dialogue between Sudan and Sweden. Meanwhile, the Swedish Ambassador said that the meeting also discussed outcomes of Dr. Nafie\'s visit to Sweden, expressing hope that the visit will push ahead the constructive spirit and positive spirit that prevailed in the negotiations held by Dr. Nafie with the Swedish officials. In a statement to SUNA, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Sector at NCP, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour,said that the meeting tackled means to boost the Sudanese Swedish relations.
