Geneva - MENA
Swiss People's Party on Saturday announced that it will urge the parliament to ban refugees and asylum seekers from leaving the country.
The party expressed dismay over visits by Eritrean and other nationals to their home countries.
The party said that the asylum right is given to those people since their lives are deemed at risk in their home countries, terming such visits as "preposterous and unacceptable".
Around 50,000 travel permits were issued to refugees and asylum seekers in Switzerland from 2011 till 2015.
