The General Command of the Syrian Army and the Armed Forces on Thursday declared suspension of military operations in Syria on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Friday October 26th to Monday 29th. In a statement carried by Syrian news agency, the General Command said ‘in consistence with our responsibilities to protect civilians and the public and private properties, the Armed Forces will reserve the right to respond’ to the continuation of the armed groups’ gunfire against civilians and government forces and attacking public and private properties.
