Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mikdad arrived in Tehran on Saturday to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on bilateral relations as well as the latest regional and international developments, Fars News Agency reported. During his one-day visit, Mikdad is due to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, said the news agency.
