Syria's Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem on Wednesday met with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) chief Peter Maurer, currently on a three-day visit to Syria. The meeting discussed ICRC's humanitarian operations in Syria, SANA news agency reported. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had met on Tuesday with Maurer, where talks touched upon the relations and cooperation ties between ICRC and the Syrian government, according to SANA.
