Damascus - MENA
Several Syrian opposition factions refused the proposal introduced by UN special envoy Staffan de Mistura to impose ceasefire in Aleppo, northern Syria.
In its statement on Tuesday, the opposition factions said the introduced plan would only serve the Syrian regime.
They said they want Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his aides to go, in addition to prosecute those involved in war crimes.
De Mistura is trying to broker a truce in Aleppo between warring regime and opposition forces.
