Security forces killed a Taliban key commander named Mullah Rahmatullah along with two of his men in Deyak district of Ghazni province 125 km South of Kabul on Saturday, deputy to provincial governor Mohammad Ali Ahmadi said. "Acting on a tip-off, the security forces raided a Taliban hideout in Kohnadeh village of Deyak district early today morning, killing Mullah Rahmatullah along with two of his bodyguards on the spot," Ahmadi told Xinhua. There were no casualties on the security forces, he said. Elimination of Mullah Rahmatullah is a major setback to the Taliban militants in Ghazni and adjoining provinces, he added. Taliban militants have yet to make comment.
