The security forces arrested a Taliban local leader in the southern Helmand province 555 km south of Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement released here. \"An Afghan and coalition security force arrested a Taliban leader in Helmand province today,\" the statement said. Without revealing the name of the arrested Taliban leader, the statement added that \"the arrested leader is believed to be involved in the illegal movement of explosives and improvised explosive device-making materials across the Afghan border.\" Taliban militants challenging the Afghan and NATO-led forces have yet to make comment
