Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist attack near the Iranian consulate in Peshawar city of Pakistan on Monday, Tasnim news agency reported. In a statement issued on Monday, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, Marzieh Afkham, strongly condemned the terrorist attack, urging closer cooperation among all countries to fight against all forms of violence, extremism and sectarian sedition. On Monday afternoon, a suicide bomber blew himself up after being stopped by the troops at a check post near the Iranian consulate in Peshawar city, capital of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, leaving at least two people including a Frontier Constabulary man dead and 11 others injured, local media and officials said.
