Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi renewed, during his meeting on Monday with Russian deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, the importance of ending the Syrian crisis through dialogue. Iranian news agency (Mehr) quoted Salehi as saying that Iran bears a humanitarian responsibility toward the Syrian people and was keen to move ahead on such principles to restore peace and stability to Syria. The Iranian minister said that the only solution out of this crisis is through dialogue between the opposition and the Syrian government. For his part, the Russian minister said that developments in the Middle East, particularly in Syria confirms on the importance of consultation with the Republic of Iran. With regard to UN and Arab League Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi calls for truce during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha occasion, Bogdanov said that such call is positive and Moscow supported Brahimi\'s proposal.
