Minister of Displaced Alaeddine Terro on Monday uttered surprise over the stance of the majority's ministers, who were at first very supportive of the proportionality law, yet now seem very keen on the Orthodox Gathering's project. He said this code would segregate Lebanon and emphasize confessionalism, calling for an electoral formula that preserves the Taef's constants and safeguards civil peace, conviviality and national cohesions. Terro called on his fellow ministers to take into consideration the country's best interest, away from sectarianism which widens the gap among the Lebanese.
