More than 60,000 people have backed a petition to nominate Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban, Malala Yousafzai, for a Nobel Peace Prize award. The 15 year old widely known campaigner for girls\' education in Pakistan was attacked by gunmen who boarded the bus in which she was travelling asked for her by name before firing three shots at her.The call comes ahead of this Saturday\'s global day of action marking one month since Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban.
