Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe voiced keenness on promoting bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Togo in the various fields, said Egypt's Ambassador in Togo Karim Sherif.

In a message to Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Gnassingbe said he is confident that Togo will improve its economic and social conditions with the support of Egypt and due to the distinguished ties binding the two countries, added the ambassador.

The Togolese president also extended thanks to Sisi, who congratulated him for wining the third term of the presidential elections, which was held on 25/4/201, the ambassador said in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
