Tunisia’s caretaker President Moncef Marzouki declared February 6 of each year a “National Day of Fight Against Political Violence,” says a statement of the presidency.The statement carried by Tunis Press Agency outpoints that political violence represents a potential danger for the future and for co-existence between civil society components as well as a threat to the nascent democratic experience in Tunisia , not to mention that it is forbidden by law and against the spirit of the Constitution of the second Republic.Joint efforts must be made to put an end to violence through awareness-raising campaigns, condemnation and law, the Tunisian presidency said.
