He explained that his government is currently working to enact a new investment law that guarantees investment and encourages investors on one hand and revise a host of administrative procedures that manage to derail the investment process on the other hand. We are working to create, as much as we could, new measures that would help find a new economic environment much growing and organized. He said the real encouragement which my government is planning to make is that which manages to attract investors to come to Tunisia for investment, including the tax reforms which are now under revision. The Tunisian Prime Minster lauded the Saudi investments in Tunisia, noting that Saudis have huge investments in the fields of services, tourism and infrastructure. A number of Saudi top investors are working in Tunis for tens of years with some of them have visited Tunisia more than once in the previous period coming to take part in investment forums, he said, confirming that he personally has met many of them and spoke to them about their worries and demands. Al-Areedh affirmed that the security in Tunisia is gradually improving, citing that protests in a number of areas have scaled down due to that fact that demands of the public have been met and the conscience of political parties and the public have returned in addition to social dialogue among the segments of the society.
