The statement denounced \"the Egyptian army\'s coup d\'etat\" and urged people to defend democracy. Meanwhile, in a message posted on his Facebook account, Ennahdha\'s leader Rached Ghannouchi urged Egypt\'s Muslim Brotherhood \"not to return to their homes\" but continue their protests until the return of Morsi.
