Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki arrived in Peru Sunday evening to take part in the third summit of South American and Arab countries (ASPA), official TAP press agency reported Monday. The summit, which is due to be held on Monday and Tuesday, is regarded as an opportunity to further boost cooperation between Arab and South American countries, according to a communique from the presidency. Upon his arrival in Lima, the capital of Peru, Marzouki was received by Peru's president of the council of ministers and foreign minister.
