Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi received on Friday an official invitation to take part in the India-Africa partnership forum, to kick off on October 26.

Indian prime minister's special envoy Santosh Gangwar, who handed over the invitation to the Tunisan presidnt, expressed solidarity with Tunisian people an government over the latest terrorist attack in Sousse that left 38 tourists, mostly Britons, dead.

A gunman, belonging to Daesh, opened fire at holidaymakers as they sunbathed on the beach in Sousse, while dressed in black shorts and a T-shirt.

Talks also takled boosting bilateral cooperation.
