Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met Thursday with US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker who is currently visiting Tunisia leading her country's delegation to the Investment and Entrepreneurship Conference (IEC).
Over 300 Tunisian and US businessmen and economic stakeholders from North Africa (Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Libya) are attending this conference which opened Thursday in Gammarth.
According to a statement by the Tunisian presidency, Pritzker said the US is planning to give a new boost to the partnership established with Tunisia.
The US is closely following up the economic reforms in Tunisia after the democratic transition was achieved.
