Turkish ambassador to Tehran Umit Yardim has appreciated Iran\'s assistance to the quake-stricken people in the Turkey\'s city of Van.He made the statement in a letter of appreciation to governor of northwestern Iranian province of West Azarbaijan, Vahid Jalalzadeh, regarding the Islamic Republic\'s humanitarian aid to the quake-stricken areas in eastern Turkey. The Iranian humanitarian aid has been sent to Turkey’s city of Van, near border with Iran which was hit by 7.2 earthquake on Sunday.
