Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet this week with protesters who have staged anti-government demonstrations for more than a week, dpa quoted an official as saying Monday. It was not immediately clear which members of the protest movement would be invited to meet with Erdogan on Wednesday. Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc made the announcement after a cabinet meeting Monday. He added that \"illegal demonstrations\" would no longer be allowed in Turkey.
