The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Monday summoned the Russian ambassador in Ankara over a serviceman on a Russian naval ship allegedly brandished a rocket launcher while the vessel passed through Istanbul over the weekend.

Russia Today TV Channel said no reports from the Russian embassy in Ankara were yet issued.

Images of the Russian on deck brandished a rocket launcher while the vessel was passing through Istanbul at the week end were published by Turkish media.
