Turkey will open four new camps to accommodate refugees fleeing violence in Syria, with a capacity of 43 thousand refugees, The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate said in a statement . The statement said that the new camps will accommodate Syrian refugees who are currently staying in students’ boarding houses and sport halls, as well as those waiting on the boarders. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced that about 5,000 refugees arrive in Turkey every day over the past 14 days, compared with 500 in the previous weeks.
