Republican People’s Party

The Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) has a chance to increase its seats out from the upcoming early parliamentary elections, said a poll on Friday.

The poll numbers suggested the ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) popularity has further declined.

The survey was carried out by the KONDA research company and published by Cumhuriyet daily newspaper.

According to the paper, the poll expected AKP would win 41.7 percent of the parliament seats in the early elections which would be held in November.

The CHP candidates have the opportunity to win up to 27.9 percent of the seats, the poll added.

The pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) might win 13.8 percent of the votes, the poll said.
