The Turkish Cabinet has approved the opening of its Incirlik air base to the U.S.-led coalition against the so-called Islamic State militants, the Turkish foreign ministry said today.

According to Hurriyet Daily News, the move only concerns the fight against Daesh terrorists and does not include air support to Kurdish fighters in northern Syria, spokesman Tanju Bilgic told reporters in a briefing.
