A Turkish Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing after it received a bomb threat in Algeria. The plane en route to Sao Paolo, Brazil, made an emergency landing in Algeria following a bomb warning, Dogan News Agency reported Algerian Bomb squads are inspecting the plane for explosives, the report said, without further elaborating. The plane took off from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport this morning. Turkish Airlines officials said the landing was a standard procedure after an unclaimed notebook computer was found in the passenger cabin.
