Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met with President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Massoud Barzani, who is currently visiting Turkey . The two discussed the deteriorating security situation on the Turkish-Iraqi border and ways to impose security on the that area. Barzani recently held several meetings with Turkish officials on ways to enhance political, economic and security cooperation between the two sides.
