Turkish President Abdullah Gul will visit Egypt on February 7 and 8 for a state visit during which he holds talks with Egyptian President Dr. Mohammed Morsi, it was announced here on Tuesday. Gul will also participate in the Islamic Summit due to kick off in Cairo on February 6. The summit will bring together some 56 leaders from Islamic nations. Well-informed diplomatic sources said that Gul's meeting with president Morsi will be part of the continuing political consultations between the leaders of the two countries on different issues. The sources said that the talks will focus primarily on the latest developments of the Syrian crisis and new ways to help the Syrian people achieve their aspirations and alleviate their suffering internally and externally. The latest developments of the Palestinian issue, and the current situation in the middle east and the Balkan will also be taken up , the same sources added.
