Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu discussed with US Secretary of State John Kerry over the phone Saturday the Syrian crisis and Iran's nuclear program. The Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement that the two officials talked about the latest developments on Iran's nuclear program and current developments in Syria, including preparations for the International conference Geneva II, due next January. The statement noted that Kerry briefed Davutoglu on expected steps for the next six months in relations to Iran's nuclear program based on the nuclear agreement between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 group in Geneva. Davutoglu congratulated Kerry for the Geneva agreement, asserting Turkey's readiness to provide all support needed over the Iranian nuclear file.
