Two Saudi soldiers were killed Monday dawn when some armed groups launched an attack on a border guard patrol in the Sharurah sector of Najran region, Interior Ministry spokesman said. Saudi News Agency (SPA) quoted the spokesman as saying that the security officers managed to follow the eleven assailants who were trying to cross the Saudi border to Yemeni territory and arrested them. Ten of the assailants are Saudi nationals and one is a Yemeni resident of Saudi Arabia. By initial validation of their identities and their criminal records, the eleven assailants were found associated with previous crimes and have been recently released from prison.
