A high-profile delegation from the United Arab Emirates arrived in Cairo on Tuesday to hold \" important\" talks with top Egyptian officials, state news agency MENA reported. Led by UAE national security adviser Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed al- Nuhyyan, the delegation grouped minsters of foreign affairs, development and international cooperation, energy and finance. The UAE was among the first countries that congratulated Egypt following the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi last week, after four-day nationwide protests. \"This delegation is here to reaffirm full support for the Egyptians in this critical time,\" Egypt\'s Foreign Ministry spokesman Abddel-Ati was quoted by MENA as saying. The delegation is scheduled to meet with interim President Adli Mansour, Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, and Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr. Economic observers believe that the UAE will play a vital role in the post-Morsi era by extending financial aid to rescue the ailing Egyptian economy.
