The UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan conferred here today with and his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandianduring. They tackled a range of issues of mutual interest and latest regional developments. During the meeting, the two sides signed an Air Services Agreement (ASA) that provides the legal framework for regulation and cooperation in air services. According the official news agency WAM, the two countries agreed that any number of designated airlines of both parties will have the right to perform scheduled air services between the two countries, including the exercise of fifth freedom traffic rights.
