Emirates Library at the National Centre for Documentation and Research has launched its electronic “e-gate” to mark the 45th anniversary of its establishment. The portal offers easy access to those interested in the library contents both inside and outside the country. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the launch of the portal comes in line with the strategy of the center to provide the best applications in accordance with its policies in this respect. The library was set up in 1968 following the founding of the National Centre in the same year. It contains thousands of books and reference works in Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Persian and Portuguese languages.
