The United Kingdom condemned on Friday the terrorist attack that hit a mosque in al-Qadeeh, Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, British Minister for Middle East Tobias Ellwood said “there is no place for such barbarity in our societies.”

Also, he expressed solidarity with Riyadh after hearing the news of the tragedy.

“I strongly condemn this morning’s attack at the Imam Ali mosque in al-Qadeeh. I offer my sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially the families and loved ones of the victims of such appalling violence," the minister said.

"There can be no place for such barbarity in our societies and the UK stands firmly with Saudi Arabia at this terrible time.”
