British Prime Minister David Cameron discussed with his Italian counterpart Matteo Renzi the latest developments in Ukraine and Libya.
"The Prime Minister spoke to Prime Minister Renzi of Italy this afternoon about the situation in Ukraine," Downing Street's spokeswoman said.
"They agreed on the importance of the EU and US sending a clear and united message to president Putin that the Minsk agreements must be implemented in full," she said.
