Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko left for Minsk, Belarus on Wednesday to participate in the "Normandy format" talks, his press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko has said, according to Interfax news agency.
Upon arrival Poroshenko will participate in talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Immediately after Minsk, Poroshenko will fly to Brussels, to attend an EU summit on the situation in Ukraine.
