A number of the leaders in the international organizations called on the European leaders to give priority to the human rights and dignity of people when dealing with the humanitarian crisis of the Mediterranean Sea.

The signatories on the statement said that the European Union (EU) adopts basic humanitarian values, solidarity and respecting human rights.

They also urged the EU to set a plan based on moral values in treating the crises of the migrants who cross the Mediterranean Sea.
