UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday condemned what he described as “unconstitutional seizure of power” in Central African Republic, demanding for restoring of constitutional order in the country.According to a statement issued by the UN press office, Ban expressed deep concern by reports of serious violations of human rights, stressing that those who are responsible for committing such violations will be held accountable.The statement added that the Secretary-General calls for calm and respect of the rule of law in the Central African Republic, noting that the United Nations has taken all precautions to protect its staff.
