UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and US House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner will visit Iraq on Monday for talks with officials on security and political updates.
Spokesman for Prime Minister Haidar Abadi said Ban will discuss with the Iraqi premier the latest developments on the ground in Iraq and the Middle East region.
The visit aims to discuss support the UN and the international community could afford to Iraq to counter the security challenges, said the spokesman.
Boehner will hold talks on the war on Daesh terror group, he added.
